La Rentrée has come and passed. ça veut dire quoi? That now there are groups of 15 year olds wasting away the afternoon in the cafés smoking cigarettes.
The sad part? How easily I blend in. (not the smoking part. just that i look 15). The backpack doesn't help either, especially since most french universities don't start up again until October.

ReplyDeleteno. the public uni system is just kinda fucked up...well, i really dont know anything about it, but from what i've heard from a few french people is that most of the profs do not care at all about teaching, which is a shame. many of them even live in other parts of france and commute 2-3 hours to paris by train tuesday-thursday for classes. the year goes from ~oct 28 to sometime in june.
